Do these labels meet UL Standards?  http://www.ul.com/

Currently there is no UL standard that applies specifically to labels that are installed in a wrap-around fashion. Some companies will mention UL recognition for their self-laminating labels but in fact the recognition they are referencing is only valid if the label is applied to a specific flat surface material (stainless, aluminum, etc.) as directed by the UL marking standard rules. Applying those labels in a self-lamination method on wires or cables technically invalidates any UL recognition.

Print Protect Labels

Print Protect Labels are a full-clear version of our most popular label sizes. These labels are used as a clear protective layer over the top of any existing labels you may already have. Non-laminated labels are at risk of scratching, moisture damage and UV fading. If you have labels that are beginning to peel, this is a great solution to stop further damage.

Using Print Protect Labels is a great money saving solution compared to the labor intensive task of removing, reprinting and re-applying labels on existing installations. You'll save an incredible amount of time and labor by simply using our Print Protect Labels to laminate over your old inferior labels.
